1. Open Access Policy and Copyright Statement
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and human experiments. Open access publishing provides immediate, worldwide free access to all published manuscripts. Readers can view, download, print, and redistribute any article without any financial barrier, enabling greater distribution of an article. Once published, the article will be made free to read and reuse upon publication under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) licence Creative Commons Attribution Licence.
Except where otherwise noted, all content on this website is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Licence. This license allows for commercial and non-commercial redistribution as well as modifications of the work as long as attribution is given to the authors and the International Journal of Management and Data Analytics as the original publication source, and a link to the article on the IJMADA website is provided. Authors retain full copyright to their individual works. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.
2. Publication Ethics
IJMADA adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to high ethical standards at all stages of the publication of papers.
Before submitting an article for consideration, the author(s) acknowledge the following:
1. Have the approval and/or consent of the relevant regulatory authority and ethics committee (if applicable).
2. The data used has been checked for accuracy.
3. Materials have been cited and permission has been obtained (for reproduced materials) where applicable. No plagiarism has been involved in the submission of their work.
4. The article has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication/consideration.
5. All those who qualify as authors have been listed during the submission of the article.
6. Any conflict of interest (scientific or financial) is declared in the article.
Responsibilities of the Reviewers include:
1. All manuscripts under review are treated as confidential.
2. Any potential conflict of interest must be disclosed, and the reviewer must recuse themselves.
3. All reviews should be conducted objectively, with clear and constructive feedback.
4. Not to upload unpublished articles to Generative AI for analysis, creation of reviews, or summarizing the unpublished articles.
The editors agree to:
1. Maintain the confidentiality of all submitted papers under the review process.
2. Identify and report any research misconduct and maintain publication integrity.
3. Make fair editorial decisions without any form of discrimination (race, country, gender, sexual orientation, political, and religious beliefs).
3. Use of Generative AI
IJMADA upholds and encourages all authors and reviewers to follow the following guidelines:
a) Permitted Uses of AI Tools
AI technologies may be used as supportive tools to enhance productivity, accuracy, and clarity in academic research and writing. Acceptable uses include:
- Translation and Language Correction: Assisting with translation into different languages and correcting grammar, punctuation, and style, particularly for authors writing in a non-native language.
- Transcription: Converting audio material, such as interviews or lectures, into written text.
- Programming Assistance: Supporting the refinement and debugging of programming code.
- Research Assistance: Facilitating information searches, including identifying relevant references and background material.
These applications are considered supplementary tools that aid researchers in their work, rather than replacing original academic contributions.
b) Prohibited Uses of AI Tools
To ensure ethical and academic integrity, AI should not be used in the following ways:
- Authorship: AI tools cannot be credited as authors. All content remains the responsibility of human authors.
- Content Creation: AI should not generate substantial portions of a manuscript, including arguments, analysis, or interpretation of results.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analytical processes and result interpretations must be carried out by researchers, not AI.
- Security and Confidentiality: Confidential or sensitive data must not be input into AI platforms, as some services may store or reuse such data. Protecting the integrity and confidentiality of research is paramount.
c) Declaration of AI Use
When AI tools are used in the preparation of academic work, their use must be explicitly disclosed, clearly specifying the purpose and scope of the AI assistance.
d) References on the use of AI

4. Article Access
Upon publication, authors are permitted to self-archive the accepted manuscript on their personal websites and in institutional or funder repositories for public access.
Since authors retain the copyright to their work, they are entitled to self-archive both the accepted and published versions of their manuscripts.
There is no embargo period for archiving. Authors may immediately deposit their articles in institutional, non-commercial repositories or personal websites upon publication on the journal’s site. This is done in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY).
5. Article Retraction and Removal Policy
Retraction
IJMADA adheres to recognized industry standards for handling corrections and retractions (for example, guidance from COPE and other scholarly and library bodies). Retraction is an exceptional mechanism used to protect the integrity of the scholarly record. Grounds for retraction may include, but are not limited to:
- Violations of ethical standards (e.g., research misconduct, falsification, fabrication)
- Plagiarism or false claims of authorship
- Multiple or duplicate submissions/publications
- Serious errors that invalidate findings or conclusions
- Fraudulent data or results
- Other substantiated reasons that materially affect the reliability of the work
Actions following retraction
When an article is retracted, the publisher will take the following steps to ensure transparency and maintain the scholarly record:
- Publish a separate retraction notice titled “Retraction: [Article Title]” in the relevant online issue and link it to the original article. However, the original PDF of the retracted article will be preserved.
- Mark the HTML record clearly (with a visible “RETRACTED” label) near the article title.
- Maintain the article’s DOI and existing links; metadata and index records will be updated to reflect the retraction.
Article Removal and Withdrawal
Articles that have been formally published are not normally removed. Once an article has passed editorial review and been published, it cannot be withdrawn except at the sole discretion of the publisher and only in rare, exceptional circumstances. Published articles are typically disseminated immediately to indexing services and DOI registries, which further limits the possibility of removal.
IJMADA retains the exclusive right to remove or retract content. Decisions to remove or retract are uncommon and follow a thorough process of investigation, consultation, and documentation. This process may require time to allow for careful review, verification of facts, and, where appropriate, discussions with authors, institutions, and other stakeholders. In the event of removal, the publisher will issue a clear explanatory statement describing the reasons and the actions taken.
6. Complaints
Complaints should be sent directly to editor@ijmada.com. All complaints are handled confidentially by the Editor-in-Chief, whose decision is considered final. If the complainant remains dissatisfied, they may escalate the issue to an appropriate external body.
All complaints will receive a formal acknowledgment within three working days. If a full response cannot be provided within two weeks, an interim reply will be issued, followed by further updates as needed until the matter is resolved.
7. Advertisement
IJMADA does not permit advertisements on its website or within its published articles.
8. Article Processing Charges (APC)
There are NO charges for authors for publishing with IJMADA.
